EXCLUSIVE: Comedian Catherine Cohen announced on Tuesday that her new special, Come for Me, is set to premiere globally on Veeps at approximately 5pm PST on Thursday, October 17.
Part stand-up comedy, part cabaret, Come for Me is billed as an openly glamorous, decidedly horny exploration of what it means to be a woman entering her 30s. Check out a trailer above.
The special is Cohen’s second on the heels of The Twist …? She’s Gorgeous, which premiered on Netflix in 2022. That hour was based on a show performed at the Edinburgh Comedy Festival in 2019, which won her the coveted title of Best Newcomer.
Filmed at the Gramercy Theatre in New York City, her new hour will be free for Veeps All Access subscribers. Cohen wrote and performed it, with Kevin Garcia serving as its director, and Matt Sergent and Patrick Koch producing. Exec producers include Cohen and Cait Taylor, as well as Joel Madden, Benji Madden, Kyle Heller and Bart Coleman for Veeps.
Currently touring all over the U.S. and Europe, Cohen is also an actress, singer and writer who will this month be seen starring alongside Steve Martin and Martin Short in the fourth season of Only Murders in the Building. Recently, she also wrapped filming opposite Julianne Moore and Milly Alcock for Sirens, Netflix’s darkly comic limited series from Maid‘s Molly Smith Metzler.
Previously shooting a lead in While You Were Breeding, a Freeform comedy-drama that never made it to air, Cohen has also appeared on Girls5eva, What We Do in the Shadows, Awkwafina Is Nora from Queens, Broad City, Search Party, High Maintenance and other series.
Feature credits for Cohen include Paramount+’s At Midnight, Netflix’s The Lovebirds, Disney+’s 2021 Home Alone reboot Home Sweet Home Alone, and IFC’s comedy Dating. Coming soon is The French Italian, a comedy that premiered at this year’s Tribeca Festival, in which she stars opposite SNL alum Aristotle Athari.
Cohen is represented by CAA, Brillstein Entertainment Partners, and Felker Toczek Suddleson.
