Love Is Blind UK is Finally Coming — and None of Us Are Ready

Love Is Blind UK is finally happening — yes, really!

Ah, the things people will do to find love. Singles’ nights, blind dates, hours of app swiping — oh yeah, and entering Netflix’s infamous Love Is Blind pods.

Love Is Blind, Netflix’s “sight unseen” dating show-slash-phenomenon, has been gripping reality fans since its first season aired back in 2020. Since then, the show has become an international sensation, with spin-off versions in Japan, Sweden, Germany, Argentina, Mexico, the United Arab Emirates and Brazil. Now, finally, the UK is getting its chance to find love in the infamous pods. And honestly, we’re sure it’s going to be seriously dramatic fare.

What will happen in Love Is Blind UK?

A quick reminder of the basic premise of Love Is Blind: a bunch of singles are separated by sex and live in isolation for a couple of weeks. During this time, they go on a series of blind audio dates in pods. At the end of their dates, some of the couples decide to become engaged. After the proposals, the new couples get the chance to meet each other face to face for the first time. (Naturally, this can be pretty dramatic.)

Once the couples have met, they head off on a vacation before moving in to flats together. The final episodes see the couples walking down the aisle and tying the knot — or, sometimes, not.

So far, it looks like the UK version will be very similar to the famous US version. The main difference will be the hosts — while the US version is hosted by real-life married couple Nick and Vanessa Lachey, here in the UK, the show will be hosted by Matt and Emma Willis.
