Where does Vanderpump Rules go from here? Do these former SURvers still have a place on TV in a post-Scandoval world? Some fans predict “Vanderpump Rules Cancelled” headlines in the near future following the season 11 finale episode. It doesn’t help that Bravo has announced that it has paused filming for the summer.
“This feels like the end,” wrote one VPR fan account on X. “Oh this flashback ending, this is the series finale,” posted another fan. Some people speculated—with varying degrees of seriousness—that the producers tanked the show by trying to manufacture a Tom Sandoval redemption arc. “Hear me out….producers are purposely sabotaging these shows so they can all get canceled and be replaced,” wrote one person.
That said, even though the cast will be taking a filming hiatus, representatives for the show have confirmed that the series is not cancelled. That doesn’t mean things won’t change, however.
“There’s always a possibility of a cast shakeup, or having the legacy cast members move to The Valley, but no decisions have been made yet,” a source told Entertainment Tonight on May 7. This means that theories that Ariana Madix will be leaving the show, and that Lala Kent and Scheana Shay—who have already had The Valley cameos—are planning to move to the spin-off permanently, are still very much on the table.
Vanderpump Rules isn’t canceled yet, but it’s safe to say that it will never be the same.
