George Santos Tells Ziwe His HBO Biopic “Is Not Ever Going To Happen” & Weighs In On Bowen Yang’s ‘SNL’ Impression

Ziwe premiered her interview with George Santos on her YouTube channel after the congressman was expelled from Congress.

During the one-on-one interview, Ziwe asked Santos to weigh in on Bowen Yang‘s impression of him on Saturday Night Live.

“I think he deserves an EGOT,” Santos said.

Ziwe followed up by asking Santos if he would like Yang to play him in the HBO biopic being developed at the premium network by VEEP executive producer Frank Rich based on the Mark Chiusano book The Fabulist: The Lying, Hustling, Grifting, Stealing, and Very American Legend of George Santos.

“That movie is not ever going to happen,” Santos answered. “The book has no perspective of me or anybody close to me. It’s a f***ing fiction.”

Ziwe started off the interview by telling Santos that he’s been accused of lying to the American people and how long it would take for Dancing with the Stars to give him a call to appear as a contestant. This was in reference to former White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer, who became a contestant in Season 28 of the dance competition after leaving the Trump administration.

“I’ll pass,” Santos said of the idea of appearing on the ABC competition.

Santos then said, “I don’t want to be Sean Spicer. Let’s just call it that.”

One other thing to note is that at the beginning of the video, a disclaimer appears informing that “no congressmen were paid in the making of this interview” despite Santos allegedly asking “three times.”
