Minaj has become the female rapper with the most chart-topping albums in history
Nicki Minaj’s new album Pink Friday 2 has debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. Her third chart-topping album—after Pink Friday and Roman Reloaded—launched with 228,000 equivalent album units. It makes her the female rapper with the most No. 1 albums in history, breaking her previous tie with Foxy Brown. It’s also the biggest sales week for any album released by a female rapper so far in the 2020s.
The new album features contributions from Drake, Lil Wayne, J. Cole, Future, Finneas, Murda Beatz, and more. It also includes the lead singles “Super Freaky Girl,” “Red Ruby da Sleeze,” and “Last Time I Saw You.” She recently announced a 2024 tour.
