Pom Klementieff, Miriam Shor & Nathan Fillion Join ‘Superman Legacy’

James Gunn’s Superman Legacy has added three: Guardians of the Galaxy alums Pom Klementieff, Miriam Shor and Nathan Fillion.

They all join David Corenswet (Clark Kent/Superman), Rachel Brosnahan (Lois Lane), Nicholas Hoult (as Lex Luther), Skyler Gisondo, Sara Sampaio and Sean Gunn. Reportedly Anthony Carrigan, Isabel Merced, and Nathan Fillion are respectively cast as Metamorpho, Hawkgirl, and Guy Gardner/Green Lantern.

Klementieff played Mantis in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and 3, while Fillion portrayed Master Karja in Vol. 3 and voiced a monster inmate in the first installment. Shor was the villainous Recorder Vim in Vol. 3.

Deadline reached out to DC for comment. Hollywood Reporter had the news.

Superman Legacy is the first movie in the newly revamped DC Studios under Gunn and Peter Safran, the first phase entitled “Gods and Monsters”.

Superman Legacy is prepping a Georgia shoot. The movie hits theaters on July 11, 2025.

Said Safran about the new iteration of the Man of Steel back at the DC presser in January, “It’s not an origins story, it focuses on Superman’s balancing his Kryptonian heritage with his human upbringing. He’s the embodiment of truth, justice and the American way, he’s kindness in a world that thinks of kindness as old fashioned.”

DC’s Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom opens on Dec. 22 with an eye at a $45M-$50M 4-day opening.
