Max Drops 2024 Teaser Featuring First Looks From ‘The Penguin,’ ‘Pretty Little Liars: Summer School,’ ‘Welcome To Derry,’ & More

Max has dropped a teaser for its 2024 lineup that includes never-before-seen footage from new HBO Originals like the limited series The Sympathizer, along with the comedy series The Franchise and the new Max Original The Penguin starring Colin Farrell (who utters, “the world ain’t built for guys like us.”)

The brand spot also features first looks from Curb Your Enthusiasm, Industry (welcome, Kit Harington!), My Brilliant Friend, The Jinx, Tokyo Vice and Hacks, as well as fresh peeks of House of the Dragon and True Detective: Night Country starring Jodie Foster and Kali Reis.

There are also scenes from the HBO Original limited series The Regime featuring Kate Winslet, along with the new Max Originals Conan O’Brien Must Go and Pretty Little Liars: Summer School, and the return of The Sex Lives of College Girls.

And lest we have forgotten, Max reminds us that there’s still more from The Last of Us, The White Lotus, Euphoria and the Max Original series And Just Like That – but not until 2025. To whet our impatient whistle, there’s a speedy look at the IT spinoff Welcome To Derry that was supposed to drop next year at Halloween but has since been postponed to 2025.

On Dec. 2, HBO dropped the first teaser trailer for Game of Thrones Season 2 ahead of the show’s release in summer 2024. There are lots of new players coming to the Game of Thrones spinoff, include Clinton Liberty as Addam of Hull, Jamie Kenna as Ser Alfred Broome, Kieran Bew as Hugh, Tom Bennett as Ulf, Tom Taylor as Lord Cregan Stark, and Vincent Regan as Ser Rickard Thorne.
