‘The Golden Bachelor’ Boasts Franchise’s Best 3-Day Audience In Over 2 Years With Hometown Dates

EXCLUSIVE: Audiences appear eager to see how Gerry Turner’s journey toward a second chance at love pans out on ABC‘s The Golden Bachelor.

For the third consecutive week, the show grew its audience with the November 2 hometown dates episode. According to live + three-day Nielsen data, the episode managed about 5.58M (about a million more than the same-day number), marking a 5% increase over the week prior to become the biggest audience of the season.

It’s also the most-watched telecast for The Bachelor franchise since the finale of the flagship series in March 2021, when Matt James led Season 25.

When factoring in streaming viewership, the episode tallied 7.37M viewers, making it the most-watched multi platform telecast for the series since the premiere episode.

ABC didn’t say how many viewers watched the premiere in the three-day window, but that episode did boast an impressive 11M multi-platform viewers in its first seven days of viewing.

In terms of ratings, the November 2 episode grew from a 0.58 among adults 18-49 to a 1.57 rating after three days of multi platform viewing, which is a 171% increase.

The Golden Bachelor airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
