On Friday night, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle attended Beyoncé’s Renaissance world concert at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood. They were joined by some friends and Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland. A fan in the audience snapped a shot of the group enjoying the show up in their private box and then shared it on Twitter.
In the image, Meghan is wearing a silver pencil skirt covered in sequins paired with a cropped white top. Beyoncé had asked fans to wear silver for the night and everyone else in her group was in the color, even Prince Harry, who wore a silver blazer over a gray sweatshirt and white pants.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have met the musical icon when she her husband Jay-Z attended the London premiere of The Lion King in 2019, along with the royal couple. At the time, Meghan and Harry were still working members of the British royal family.
Beyoncé rarely comments on other public figures, but after Meghan’s interview with Oprah Winfrey that shared some of her most difficult experiences with Harry’s family, Beyoncé shared a shot from the premiere on her website. The Duchess had described facing racial discrimination and constant harassment from the press.
“Thank you Meghan for your courage and leadership,” Beyoncé wrote at the time. “We are all strengthened and inspired by you.”
She has also shared a photo on Instagram standing with Jay-Z in front of a painting of Meghan just after accepting their Brit Award for Best International Group.
Meghan and Harry welcomed their eldest child, Archie, soon after Beyoncé’s post. Since moving to California, they’ve had their daughter Lilibet and settled into Montecito life. Last month, Meghan was at SoFi Stadium for Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour as well, making it a summer of music for the Duchess.
