Milian welcomed her oldest and only daughter, Violet Madison Nash, on Feb. 26, 2010, with The-Dream (real name Terius Nash). Violet has three half-siblings from her dad’s first marriage and two baby brothers thanks to her mom. She also has her own Instagram page and appears to love taking photos and hanging out with Milian, as evidenced on the star’s page.
On Violet’s ninth birthday, Milian shared a photo of her daughter in a “Happy Birthday” headband and wrote: “My dear Violet, Happy 9th Birthday! I’m so blessed to have a girl like you in my life. You love hard. Your laughter, empathy, sassy attitude, your goofy & fun approach to life is what life is all about! I LOVE YOU more than love itself. So does everyone around you. I’m happy we get to see the world together and hope to show you a good example of knowing and finding your true potential. You deserve everything you can wish for IN LIFE! Love- Mommy.”
On Milian’s 2015 E! reality TV series, “Christina Milian Turned Up,” she opened up about how giving birth to Violet transformed motherhood for her. “The second that she was born, it was, like, instantly I became a child again,” she said, per People. “It’s like I see the world with new eyes: Not only is this my life to live, this is for my daughter.”
