Joe Jonas is checking a major item off his bucket list – sharing the stage with Billy Joel.
The 33-year-old DNCE frontman and Jonas Brothers member hopped on social media on Friday (July 7) to reveal that he got an opportunity to perform with the music legend.
He shared some footage from the moment and reflected on what it meant to him. Elsewhere, he laughed off a fan that was upset about his cameo.

Taking to Instagram, Joe recorded the leadup to his performance, noting that he was “quite nervous” after soundcheck. He then joined Billy onstage to perform a duet version of “Uptown Girl.”
“This still feels unreal,” he gushed in the accompanying caption. “Thank you to my friend @billyjoel for having me on stage to sing ‘Uptown Girl’ with you tonight in Hyde Park. You’ve been a big inspiration to me and this was a bucket list moment. Life made.”
His life was made, but one of Billy‘s fans seemed disappointed by the surprise guest, taking to the comments section of another post to voice their displeasure.
“Imagine paying a bunch of money to see Billy Joel and you have to listen to Joe Jonas sing song of his parts,” they wrote. Instead of being bothered by the hate, Joe leaned into his sense of humor, replying with “ugh Tim that would be terrible.”
For what it’s worth, we think it would be amazing!
