Hugh Jackman Shares “The Great British Baking Show” Photo Just Days After Ryan Reynolds’s Visit

PARIS, FRANCE - FEBRUARY 21: Hugh Jackman attends the

The Great British Baking Show” appears to be cooking up something special for the show’s fans. On July 1, just one week after Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively visited the show’s iconic white tent, Hugh Jackman slipped a sneaky picture of the show’s set into a random photo dump. The “Logan” actor doesn’t appear in the photo, but there’s no mistaking the inside of the tent. POPSUGAR reached out to the show’s British home, Channel 4, in regards to Jackman’s photo, but did not receive an immediate response.

Jackman’s photo from the show’s set is the third slide in an otherwise random post, which also includes two wildlife photos and a snap of the actor in a hat and sunglasses. He captioned the carousel, “The week that was.” Interestingly, both “The Great British Baking Show” judge Paul Hollywood and Reynolds liked Jackman’s post.

At this stage, it’s unclear whether Jackman will be appearing on a celebrity edition of the show, or if his and Reynolds’s recent visits are for another project entirely. But given the actors’ long-running “feud,” seeing them face off on “The Great British Baking Show” would be a delectable treat on par with a cake whipped up by Hollywood himself. Jackman’s fans seem to agree.

The actor’s comments sections is filled with queries from curious fans who are hoping to see Jackman and Reynolds appear on the show together. One person commented, “No way Ryan and you doing bake off.” Another fan added, “Oooh are you maybe planning on pitting your master baker skills against Ryan……”

On June 23, married couple Reynolds and Lively sparked similar curiosity when they appeared in photos with the show’s judges, Hollywood and Prue Leith. For his part, Reynolds posed with both judges in front of the tent. He captioned his Instagram post, “A full and unconditional hug of pure serotonin.” Meanwhile, Hollywood shared a snap of Lively joining him in “cake corner.”

If Jackman and Reynolds do end up appearing on a celebrity edition of “The Great British Baking Show,” the pals would join a number of high-profile celebrities who have tried to whip up something tasty in the tent in previous years. Among the stars who have appeared in either a holiday celebrity special or the show’s annual Stand Up to Cancer specials are James McAvoy, Daisy Ridley, Nicola Coughlan, and David Schwimmer.
