Is “Milkshake” Singer Kelis Dating Bill Murray? Here’s What One Report Claims

Here’s a potential new celebrity couple that no one had on their 2023 bingo card. According to a report from The Sun, Bill Murray and “Milkshake” singer Kelis are allegedly dating. The 72-year-old “Ghostbusters” star has been spotted at several of Kelis’s recent concerts, according to the outlet, and he even posed for a picture with the 43-year-old singer backstage at her London show last weekend. POPSUGAR reached out to representatives for Murray and Kelis about the dating rumors, but did not receive an immediate response.

Per the publication, the pair were reportedly spotted at the same hotel in London. Anonymous sources claim to The Sun that Murray and Kelis have been “getting close for a while,” and first connected stateside. It should be noted, Murray is currently in England filming the latest “Ghostbusters” movie.

“They’ve met up in the States before which got people in the industry talking, and now are meeting up in London while they’re both here,” The Sun’s source claimed. “They’ve clearly hit it off.”

The report suggests the Kelis and Murray may have bonded over their recent bereavements. The “Got Your Money” singer’s second husband, Mike Mora, died of stomach cancer in March 2022. Meanwhile, Murray’s second ex-wife Jennifer Butler died in July 2021. During their divorce, she accused the actor of physical abuse and infidelity, per the Los Angeles Times. At the time, he would not comment on the allegations, but his lawyer told the paper, Murray “is deeply saddened by the breakup of his marriage.”

The comedian has faced multiple allegations of workplace misconduct over the years, some of which he has publicly denied, while others the actor has never addressed.

Murray and Kelis are also both parents. The “Lost in Translation” star is father to Homer and Luke with his first wife, Margaret Kelly, and sons Caleb, Jackson, Cooper, and Lincoln with the late Butler. As for Kelis, the singer is mom to Knight, whom she shares with ex Nas, and Shepherd and Galilee, whom she shared with Mora.

“Whatever it is that has brought them together, and however unlikely it seems, they are both single and are having fun despite the fairly big age gap,” The Sun’s source claimed of the duo’s reported romance.
