Lindsay Lohan is going to be a mom.
The actor announced that she and her husband Bader Shammas are expecting their first child together, posting a photo of a baby onesie on Instagram that reads “Coming soon…” She added in the caption, “We are blessed and excited!” She re-shared the same image on her Instagram Stories, tagging her husband. The Mean Girls star also confirmed the happy news to TMZ, telling the outlet, “We are very excited for our new family member to arrive and we are looking forward to this next chapter of our lives!”
Lohan and Shammas quietly wed last July. The actor sparked speculation that they may have tied the knot after she posted a selfie of the two of them together on Instagram with an effusive caption in which she referred to the financier as her husband. “I am the luckiest woman in the world. You found me and knew that I wanted to find happiness and grace, all at the same time,” she wrote. “I am stunned that you are my husband. My life and my everything. ❤️every woman should feel like this everyday 🙏💖” Prior to that, Lohan also announced their engagement on Instagram in November 2021, writing, “My love. My life. My family. My future.” And in celebration of Shammas’s birthday a month prior to their wedding, Lohan wrote another heartfelt tribute to her future husband, saying, “My love! You’re not only a great man, an incredible person, you’re my best friend. Thank you for you loving me back babe! I Love You So much! ❤️ Happy Birthday.”
Back in February 2020, Lohan accidentally announced that she had a new man in her life when she shared a since-deleted group photo from a music festival in Dubai that happened to mention her “boyfriend” in the caption. In the shot, the actor was posing alongside a man who later turned out to be Shammas, as well as Bastille drummer Chris “Woody” Wood, who performed with his band that night, Lohan’s sister Aliana, and musician Dan Smith. “@aliana lovely night with sister and my boyfriend bader. such a magical night,” she wrote.
