The 2023 Oscars red carpet was packed with celebrity couples displaying PDA, and Taika Waititi and Rita Ora kept the love going at the Vanity Fair afterparty. Following the Academy Awards on March 12, Ora and Waititi, who confirmed the news of their marriage in January, walked the carpet hand-in-hand. In between snaps of the couple looking like award-show royalty, Waititi and Ora leaned in to share a romantic kiss.
As the couple posed for the cameras, they couldn’t keep their eyes off each other. Feeling affectionate, Waititi followed their sweet peck on the lips with kisses on either side of Ora’s cheeks. During one kiss, Ora put her hand on her hip and playfully rolled her eyes at her husband’s romantic behavior. When they weren’t staring into each other’s eyes and exchanging kisses, Waititi and Ora did their best to appear serious. In true form, however, Waititi struck some interesting poses that made Ora laugh.
Before they managed to slip away from the red carpet, Ora stepped aside for some solo photos in her white cutout corset gown reminiscent of a wedding dress. As she stood on her mark, Waititi was nearby admiring his wife.
Ora and Waititi first went public with their relationship in April 2021. The pair have made few red-carpet appearances together, preferring to keep their relationship out of the spotlight. With their honeymoon phase still in full swing though, it’s nice to see the couple enjoying date night.
