Selena Gomez posted a photo of waist-length curls: ‘Should I do it again?’

“😍,” commented Aubrey Plaza. Ayesha Curry dropped the same emoji. “Most beautiful ever 💘💘,” added Nicola Peltz Beckham.

If I may be so bold as to deposit my two cents into the jar of opinions here, I’d say it would be great to see the Rare Beauty founder embracing the less-is-more ethos. It can be truly freeing to spend less time with products!

The Only Murders in the Building star has been increasingly real about brushing off critiques of her looks, including the most vicious of trolls: body-shamers. Noting that she’s gained weight as a side effect of her lupus medications, Gomez responded simply, “I just wanted to say and encourage anyone out there who feels any sort of shame for exactly what [you’re] going through, [when] nobody knows the real story…you’re beautiful and you’re wonderful.”

Acknowledging that she is “not a model, never will be,” Selena Gomez continued, “Thanks for supporting me and understanding, and if not…go away. Because, honestly, I don’t believe in shaming people for [their] body or anything.”

Whatever journey Sel’s on this year, I wanna join too!
