The 2023 Grammy Awards are happening today (Sunday, February 5), with the evening’s main ceremony preceded by the traditional red carpet display and the distribution of several other awards during the afternoon Premiere Ceremony.

On Saturday, the Recording Academy bestowed additional honors as part of the Special Merit Awards Ceremony, with Lifetime Achievement Awards going to Nirvana, the Supremes, Nile Rodgers, Slick Rick, Bobby McFerrin, Ma Rainey, Nancy Wilson, and Heart’s Ann Wilson.
Beyoncé picked up the most 2023 Grammy nominations with nine in all. If she wins three of the awards, she’ll tie the record for the most Grammy wins of all (31). If she wins four or more awards, she will set a new record for most Grammy wins ever.

How to Watch the Grammy Awards Premiere Ceremony®
The annual Premiere Ceremony begins at 3:30 p.m. Eastern, accommodating the numerous awards that don’t get distributed during the evening’s telecast. Comedian Randy Rainbow hosts this year’s affair, which features performances from Arooj Aftab, Samara Joy, Anoushka Shankar, Carlos Vives, and Madison Cunningham, plus an opening number from the Blind Boys of Alabama and Marisoul.
Presenting at the Premiere Ceremony are Babyface, Domi & DJ Beck, Myles Frost, Arturo O’Farrill, Malcolm-Jamal Warner, and Jimmy Jam. In addition, Tammy Hurt (chair of the Recording Academy’s board of trustees) will deliver opening remarks.
The Premiere Ceremony takes place at Los Angeles’ Microsoft Theater and it streams live on live.GRAMMY.com and the Recording Academy’s YouTube channel.
How to Watch the Grammys Red Carpet
The Talk’s Amanda Kloots and digital content producer Alina Vission are hosting the red carpet livestream, viewable at live.GRAMMY.com. The livestream kicks off at 6:30 p.m. Eastern. The televised red carpet program, Live From E!: Grammys, will broadcast on E! starting at 6 p.m. Eastern. Laverne Cox will co-host alongside Bobby Bones.
How to Watch the Grammys Main Ceremony
Marking his third consecutive year as host, Trevor Noah will emcee the 2023 Grammy Awards at Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena. The show begins at 8 p.m. Eastern and will air live on CBS Television Network and stream live on Paramount+. It can also be watched online by logging in to CBS’ website with a cable subscription and through the CBS app on Amazon Fire TV. For another cord-cutting option, the show is available with a subscription to Hulu + Live TV.
Performers at the 2023 Grammys include: Harry Styles, Bad Bunny, Mary J. Blige, Brandi Carlile, Luke Combs, Steve Lacy, Lizzo, Kim Petras, and Sam Smith. Plus, Kacey Musgraves, Mick Fleetwood, Migos’ Quavo, and others will perform during the in memoriam segment, and tons of hip-hop heavyweight—including Future, Glorilla, De La Soul, Missy Elliott and Rakim—will perform during a celebration of the genre’s 50th anniversary.
Presenting awards during the telecast are Cardi B, James Corden, Billy Crystal, Viola Davis, Dwayne Johnson, Olivia Rodrigo, Shania Twain, and the first lady, Jill Biden.
