Pamela Anderson Says Lily James Did Write A Letter To Her About ‘Pam & Tommy’ But Hasn’t Read It

Pamela Anderson has confirmed that Lily James really did try to reach out to her about her portrayal in Hulu’s Pam & Tommy.

However, in her new profile in The New York Times, the now 55-year-old actress admits she hasn’t read one word of it.

Check out what Pamela said about the series…

In previous interviews, Lily revealed that she tried to reach out to Pamela a few times, and even wrote her a note.

“My sole intention was to take care of the story and to play Pamela authentically,” she said in an interview with Porter magazine. “I was really hopeful that she would be involved. I wish it had been different.”

Now, Pamela says that she does have Lily‘s handwritten letter, but doesn’t intend to read it.

“A scanned copy of that letter still sits in Ms. Anderson’s inbox somewhere, unread,” the outlet writes.

Pamela says that the series “was already hurtful enough the first time. It’s like one of those things where you’re going, ‘Really?’ People are still capitalizing off that thing?”

Following the series debut on Hulu, a source close to Pamela explained why the star will probably never watch the show either.

Both Lily, and her co-star Sebastian Stan, were recently nominated for their roles in the show at the 2023 Golden Globes.
