Those that are constantly scrolling beauty content on TikTok might find that their makeup wishlist is looking pretty pricey thanks to the endless luxury recommendations – but thankfully there’s a new trend doing the rounds which is making TikTok-style makeup application way more affordable.
Because guess what: there’s plenty of effective products out there that don’t cost excessive amounts of money. In fact, the latest ‘challenge’ sees TikTok creators do a full face of makeup for under £50 (or $50) – and with it, comes plenty of recommendations for budget products at around the £5 mark. Winning.
UK TikToker Helin Doski has created a flawless look for a total of £49.84, telling her viewers: “It just goes to show, you don’t need to spend a lot of money to look good.”
Her go-to budget products? Pears Transparent Soap for her eyebrows, which costs just £1.00, and the 4 In 1 Glow Perfecter from Maybelline, costing £12.99 – using it in two shades to double up as foundation and bronzer. For concealer, it’s e.l.f.’s cult Hydrating Satin Camo Concealer which is just £6.00, and mascara is Maybelline’s popular Lash Sensational, currently on offer for £6.99.
