It’s Turkey Day! Thanksgiving has arrived in the United States, and with it comes the annual traditions of good food, great friendship, and gratitude for all the blessings one has this year. Some of the biggest stars in music, politics, television, and more got a jump on the holiday celebrations. Michelle Obama, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and Jimmy Kimmel were some of the celebs who kicked off the Thanksgiving celebrations online. Check out below all the stars celebrating.

“I hope everyone has a wonderful day filled with love, gratitude, and a whole lot of great food,” wrote former First Lady of the United States Michelle Obama. Michelle included a photo of her husband, former President Barack Obama, and their two daughters, Sasha and Malila. It was a sweet picture of the former First Family on a day for connecting with your kin – be they biological or the family you’ve chosen for yourself. “From our family to yours, have a happy Thanksgiving,” wrote Michelle.

“Wishing everyone a happy Thanksgiving!” Barack wrote on Instagram. “As we celebrate, let’s give thanks for all the blessings in our lives and give back when we can. We’re also thinking of the brave men and women serving our country far from their homes.”

Mariah Carey

“Happy Thanksgiving!!!” wrote Mariah Carey while sharing some highlights of her performing “All I Want For Christmas Is You” at the climax of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. “Grateful and so proud of my beautiful kids Roc and Roe, grateful for the lambily and for the precious moments in life. [heart emojis] Now, it’s reaaaallly time!!!”

Kim Kardashian

This year I’m really thankful for the people I have met in all of the prisons around the country,” wrote Kim Kardashian in her Thanksgiving message. Kim reunited with Khloé Kardashian’s ex, Tristan Thompson, in her message and she gave thanks to the NBA champ. “This week @realtristan13 and I had an inspiring Friendsgiving dinner with the young men incarcerated at Camp Kilpatrick. These young men have earned their way to this model camp in Malibu for great behavior. Many are in college classes and have made huge changes in their life.”

“thankful for many ppl, things, and animals,” Millie Bobby Brown wrote on Nov. 24. The British Stranger Things actress took to the American holiday, sharing a slideshow of her in a pink bikini while along with her boyfriend, Jake Bongiovi.

Lea Michele

The most thankful for this amazing family today,” wrote Lea Michele while posing along the cast of Funny Girl at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Lea performed “Don’t Rain On My Parade” with her castmates, and she made sure to give thanks to them.

Christie Brinkley

“Happy Thanksgiving everyone!” wrote the Barefoot Contessa herself, Ina Garden. “I hope you have so much to give thanks for!”

Catherine Zeta-Jones

 Happy Thanksgiving to Americans near and far,” Catherine Zeta-Jones posted to Instagram. The Wednesday star shared photos of her family, Michael Douglas and kids Dylan and Carys Douglas. “With work commitments this year, we are not in turkey mode but in serious thankful mode for the blessings of health, happiness, and family. Love to you all.”

Jimmy Kimmel

Jimmy Kimmel – who has a history of Thanksgiving beef with Jennifer Aniston – reminded everyone that Thanksgiving is also a time to help the less fortunate. While posing next to a barbecued turkey, Jimmy asked his followers to “Help @StJosephCtr bring food to families in need this Thanksgiving. No amount is too small – Molly and I will match $50k! Al Roker

After missing the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade due to his recent health issues, Al Roker shared his T-Day wishes on Instagram. “So much to be #thankful for on the #thanksgiving day. Leaving the hospital and home for #thanksgivingdinner.” He later gave an update from home, including one where he was watching the parade. “Back home in time to catch a little bit of the #macysthanksgivingdayparade Missing being next to @savannahguthrie and @hodakotb.”
