David Schwimmer’s got jokes! After pal Jennifer Aniston posted a topless shower photo promoting the launch of her new LolaVie hair-care line earlier this week, Schwimmer poked fun at his former “Friends” costar by sharing a picture of his own on his Instagram on Wednesday.
Aniston’s original caption read, “Something’s coming 🚿 9.8.22.” In response, Schwimmer captioned his snap, “@jenniferaniston – a towel I hope??” But the fun didn’t stop there. Aniston then commented on his picture, writing, “Schwim!? Trying to steal my thunder!? 🤨❤️”
Schwimmer and Aniston famously played Ross and Rachel on “Friends,” and the two have been friends for years. However, they did develop romantic feelings for each other at one point. During HBO Max’s “Friends” reunion last year, Schwimmer revealed that he had a “major crush” on Aniston when they filmed the first season of the show. “It was reciprocated,” Schwimmer said. “At some point, we were both crushing hard on each other, but it was like two ships passing. One of us was always in a relationship, and we never crossed that boundary.”
