Todd Rundgren has announced a new album. The follow-up to 2017’s White Knight, Space Force finds Rundgren assembling an eclectic cast of collaborators that includes the Roots, Sparks, Weezer’s Rivers Cuomo, Cheap Trick’s Rick Nielsen, Thomas Dolby, the Lemon Twigs, and more. The album is out October 14 via Cleopatra.

Ahead of the release, Rundgren has shared a new single called “Puzzle.” The song is a collaboration with Adrian Belew, longtime guitarist and vocalist for King Crimson and session musician for Frank Zappa, David Bowie, Talking Heads, and more. Listen below.

Rundgren is also heading out on tour later this year, performing with Daryl Hall in Brookville, New York before setting out on his Celebrating David Bowie Tour with Belew and other guests. The tour kicks off at the Balboa Theatre in San Diego and concludes in November at the Celebrity Theatre in Phoenix.

See where Rundgren’s “International Feel” ended up on Pitchfork’s list of “The 200 Best Songs of the 1970s.”
