Ariana Biermann was arrested for suspicious of drunk driving on Saturday, August 13.
The 20-year-old daughter of Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Kim Zolciak-Biermann was booked at Forsyth County Jail in the early hours of yesterday morning …after she and on-and-off boyfriend Hudson McLeroy were arrested at around 1 a.m.
Multiple celebrity gossip and entertainment news outlets have reported on this incident in the wake of police records being made public.
Ariana was charged with three misdemeanors:
Driving under the influence of alcohol, improper/erratic lane change and underage possession/purchase of alcohol.
She has since been released on $5,120 bond.
McLeroy, meanwhile, was also arrested … for allegedly driving under the influence, as well as reportedly furnishing alcohol to a minor and violating the conditions of his limited driving permit.
A former cast member on her mom’s Bravo spinoff, Don’t Be Tardy, Ariana started dating McLeroy while she was in high school in 2018.
She previously shared photos of herself and her then-boyfriend celebrating birthdays and attending school dances… prior to their break-up.
However, fans started to speculate that the two were back together after Biermann posted a picture on Instagram in July that showed her kissing an unidentified male.
Although it was too dark to properly identify the guy — and Ariana did not tag her new man — observers concluded it had to be McLeroy.
In the wake of her arrest, Ariana’s attorney issued a statement that staunchly defended his client against these DUI charges.
“Ariana was involved in a minor fender bender. When police arrived on scene, the investigating officer immediately initiated an investigation for DUI,” the lawyer said on Saturday.
“Despite Ariana’s constant invocation that she was upset and anxious from the minor accident, the officer incorrectly concluded she was impaired by alcohol. That was not the case.
“She wholly denies these allegations and intends to fight these charges because she is not guilty of them.”
Ariana has been on reality television since childhood.
Her mom Kim, now 44, joined The Real Housewives of Atlanta in October 2008, when Ariana was six years old, and departed in 2012.
Her entire family was highlighted on the spinoff Don’t Be Tardy, which aired on the network from 2012 to December 2020.
Kim has not yet commented on her daughter’s arrest.
Zolciak-Biermann is also mother to Brielle Biermann, 25, and she shares Kroy Jagger, 10, Kash Kade, and 8-year-old twins Kaia Rose and Kane Ren with retired NFL pro husband Kroy Biermann.
The couple got married in 2011.
