NBA Star Kevin Love and Sports Illustrated model Kate Bock got married over the weekend in a star-studded ceremony at the New York Public Library.
The couple celebrated their love by throwing “an old-school New York-inspired” black-and-white ball at the library attended by notable guests such as LeBron James and his wife Savannah, Adele and her boyfriend Rich Paul, professional basketball players Russell Westbrook, Steve Nash, and Darius Garland, former players Richard Jefferson, JR Smith, and Channing Frye, fashion designer Ronnie Fieg, famed chefs Mario Carbone and Missy Robbins, as well as model Emily DiDonato.
For the big day, Bock wore a custom lace and beaded gown by Ralph Lauren, which was inspired by Grace Kelly, paired with Ralph Lauren shoes, jewelry, and a cathedral veil. Love also wore a custom tux by Ralph Lauren with an ivory jacket and black pants. The pair got ready for the ceremony at the St. Regis, where they also had their first date after meeting in 2015 through a photographer they had both shot with. Bock walked down the aisle to “I Choose You” by Willie Hutch, which was sung by a children’s gospel choir, before the couple delivered their vows under a white cherry blossom chuppah. The two were married by their longtime friend and president of Excel Sports Management, Jeff Schwartz. Instead of flowers, the bride wanted the library to be illuminated by candlelight to enhance the black and white theme of the evening.
