You need to watch these hilarious moments from Elizabeth Olsen’s lie detector test

Elizabeth added that she’d seen Licorice Pizza, saying, “I loved the film, and I thought [Danielle] was great in it. But she didn’t have to do much.”

The lie detector operator then cut in saying that Elizabeth was lying about liking the film. Err, help? Elizabeth responded, “Oh, I did like the film. Or about her acting. Oh yeah, she was fine. F*ck, man. Sorry, Danielle. You did great. I don’t know what’s happening. It’s so uncomfortable right now.” Same, TBH.

When she got candid about her friendship with Chris Evans…

It turns out that Wanda (Elizabeth Olsen) and Captain America (Chris Evans) are pretty good pals IRL, as Elizabeth discussed during her interview, saying, “We lived very close to each other, and during that time we’d hang out a lot. I still like him, but I don’t, like, hang out with him anymore.”

She said that although she and Chris weren’t BFFs but “we were friends. I mean, we’re friends. […] I dunno why I’m acting like he’s dead. We’re friends, but like we just don’t hang out anymore.”

When she decided on her favourite Chris…

After being asked to decide on her favourite Chris (Evans, Hemsworth, Pratt etc…), Elizabeth said, “I don’t know who my favorite Chris is” with the lie detector operator saying her answer was “inconclusive.” After being shown a picture of Chris Pratt, She elaborated, “Chris Pratt? Yeah, he’s nice too. I mean, that’s why I think I feel inconclusive about it. They’ve all got different things to offer. They’re all, you know, nice people to be around. None of them are divas, and that’s how I feel about the Chris’s. I think I like Chris’s in general.” Good save.

When she opened up about her husband…

Having confirmed that Robbie Arnett is her husband, Elizabeth discussed his music (he used to be in a band called Milo Greene), saying “I used to listen to them a lot. I kind of listen to like one playlist for a couple years and then I move on to a new playlist, and he’s not on the the new playlist that I’ve been listening to on repeat for the last two years. It’s only, like, 30 songs on there. [laughing] And then I’ll, like, play Rosalia and stuff. That’s the most pop culture I get.”

And finally… when she said didn’t know John Krasinski…

When asked if she thought John Krasinski was the smartest man alive, Elizabeth responded, “No. I don’t know him, though. But I would never assume that an actor would be the smartest man alive.” She then clarified that she’s never met John Krasinski, saying, “I’ve never met him,” even after being reminded that they starred in the same film together.

The most interesting part? The lie detector operator confirmed that she was telling the truth. Elizabeth confirmed, “Never met him. And he’s already told me that I’ve lied a couple times. I’ve never met that man. I’ve met his wife.”
