This foot care routine is sending TikTok into a meltdown because the at-home transformation is incredible

Did anyone else completely forget to get onboard with foot care? Our feet are one of the most neglected parts of our body, especially when it comes to skincare. Sure, we’ll splash out £££ on the latest moisturisers, acids, and serums if we think it’ll make our face look good. But that’s because it’s our face – and it’s the first thing we see when we look in the mirror.

It’s time to spare a thought for our poor feet. Yes, we can easily hide them in cosy socks and comfy shoes, but wouldn’t it be nice to show them off for a change?

If you’re anything like me, you might even be too embarrassed to get your feet out at the beauticians (yes, I know they’ve ‘seen it all before’). And that is why we have TikTok.

One TikTok user, in particular, has come to the rescue: @missskena. She took to the app to share her incredible transformation, from when her feet were looking “rough, dry & had tones of mosquito scars [sic],” to the luminous picture of health they are today. You can watch the video, here:

She teased her followers (all 444K of them), asking, “Who wants a FEET CARE routine 😍” It’s us, we want the foot care routine.

Thankfully, she then shared the foot care routine she used to achieve the glowing transformation.

First up, she recommends soaking your feet in hot water and washing them with an exfoliating glove. Next, rinse them clean and give them a good ol’ scrub “especially in the dry areas like the [heels and] under the toes.”

After you’ve successfully removed all that dead skin, it’s time for a mud mask (Kena uses Voesh’s pedicure set in ‘Mango’), which you apply all over each foot and leave for five minutes before rinsing off.

Now it’s time for some massage butter (Kena uses Voesh’s Mango Delight Massage Butter), which you rub into your skin, followed by another mask (Kena uses Aveeno’s Repairing CICA foot mask), which you leave on under some socks for ten minutes.

When the ten minutes are up, don’t rinse the mask off. Instead, apply some Fenty Skin Butta Drop Whipped Oil Body Cream, followed by some body oil (in this case, Aveeno’s Daily Moisturising Oil Mist and don’t forget to rub it between your toes.

Next up, apply Vaseline Cocoa Butter Healing Jelly in those “extra dry areas like heels [and] under the toes.” You can watch the full video, here:

She finishes with some top advice, saying, “Never walk barefoot in the house. Always wear socks and slippers, it will prevent your feet from getting dry.”

On behalf of our feet, thank you.
