Madonna‘s eldest daughter Lourdes Leon just landed a new modeling gig as one of the faces of Savage X Fenty’s latest lingerie campaign.
Leon stars alongside the brand’s founder, Rihanna, to promote Savage X Fenty’s new Valentine’s Day capsule collection. In the images, she wears a strappy red bra and matching thong under a short sheer red robe with red fishnets and black and red ombré pumps. Rihanna wears another matching set from the collection — a pink and orange corseted cami and lace briefs. Models Quannah Chasinghorse, Tess McMillan, Alva Claire, Soouizz, Shugga, Sarah Kim Nyja and Evan Leff also appear in the campaign.
This isn’t Leon’s first time working with the lingerie brand. She previously made her debut in the Savage X Fenty fashion show in September of last year, appearing in the Amazon Prime special wearing a teal latex bra, thong, thigh highs, and robe with clear Amina Muaddi heels and chunky, clear beads worn around her neck and waist. The model shared on Instagram at the time, alongside a video of herself in the show, “I love @badgalriri because not only is my sis beautiful and talented, but she loves women and is striving to create a world of inclusivity and visibility. Thank you for having me be a part of this project.”
Leon first made her catwalk debut in 2018 walking the runway for Gypsy Sport during New York Fashion Week. She’s since gone on to star in campaigns for brands like Swarovski and Marc Jacobs, and even made an appearance on the September 2021 cover of Vogue, alongside supermodels like Kaia Gerber, Precious Lee, and Bella Hadid.
In December, she landed a cover of her very own for Paper magazine. In the interview accompanying the spread, the model made it clear she has no problem with posing in her underwear, saying, “I think it’s a bit ridiculous that people are still living in this world where we’re equating showing skin with wanting attention or being a hoe. Literally, like let a bitch. Let her wear what she wants.”
