A trailer, images and poster for The Bob’s Burgers Movie from Fox Animation has been released.
The trailer starts off with what looks like a Carl’s Jr.-type commercial for “sexy burgers” that segues into a less-sexy scene as Linda tries to drum up business outside Bob’s Burgers by wearing a hamburger costume with a bikini on it and barking, “Fresh hot burgers. Sexy burgers.”
Bob tries to intervene, but she rebuffs him with, “What? It’s summer, and sex sells baby.”
The movie’s story involves a ruptured water main that creates an enormous sinkhole right in front of Bob’s Burgers. It blocks the entrance and threatens to ruin the Belchers’ plans for a successful summer.
While Bob and Linda struggle to keep the business afloat, the kids try to solve a mystery that could save their family’s restaurant.
As the dangers mount, the Belchers help each other find hope and fight to get back behind the counter, where they belong.
The Bob’s Burgers Movie opens in U.S. theaters on May 27, 2022.
