Using Nyx’s Can’t Stop Won’t Stop concealer, she paints her eyelash curlers before gently positioning them where she wants her cut crease to land. In her video, she writes ,”OMG it works” and judging from that end result? She’s not wrong.

If you don’t have an eyelash curler to hand, GLAMOUR’s beauty team recommend the following steps for achieving the perfect cut crease:
- Start with an eye primer to keep everything in place.
- Next, take your darker shade and blend it along your crease creating a sharp line. This is where your darkest shade should go. Once you have a line, you can diffuse the darker colour upward toward your brow bone.
- Beneath the crease, take a lighter shadow which you can use all over the lid.
- For maximum effect, you can also finish off the cut crease by adding a dash of glitter. This gives a more dramatic look, along with a hint of sparkle.
Zoe James, a Celebrity Makeup Artist, told GLAMOUR that using an eyelash curler can sometimes be a little bit fiddly, saying, “I have tried the hack but it can sometimes be messy and a little difficult.” However, she adds, “I tend to put concealer on the eyelid and have my model look up to the ceiling […] it creates a print and gives you a great guide line.”
So, whether you prefer to use an eyelash curler or not, there’s nothing stopping you from embracing cut crease season.
