Florence Pugh played around with changing up her signature blonde hair when she dyed her tips pink for the Black Widow premiere—but now she’s taken her transformation a whole lot further. After debuting her brunette hair on Instagram back in August, the Little Woman star just went at her long locks with a pair of scissors. The results are incredible.
On October 30, the actor debuted a very short look that’s somewhat of a pixie cut meets a chic mullet on Instagram. It also looks like she deepened her hair’s chocolate tone as well, though that could be the filter. “I did a thing..#chopchopchop ✂️,” she captioned the ‘gram, which has over 2 million likes. Needless to say, her fans—including a bunch of celebrities—are obsessed.
“I am crying. Stunning,” Ariana Grande commented on the post, while fellow Marvel star Hailee Steinfeld wrote, “Absolutely.”
Joey King replied, “I love it,” and Gemma Chan simply responded, “Yessssss 🔥🔥🔥.”
Without further ado, Florence Pugh:
If you’re wondering what Pugh looked like with long brown hair, she shared a pic just last week outside a costume shop featuring Marvel characters Black Widow and Red Guardian in the window. “What the… Apparently Yelena didn’t make the cut,” she wrote in the caption while reminding fans who did plan on dressing as her character for Halloween is actually the smarter choice.
“GUYS. I LITERALLY TALK ABOUT POCKETS IN NEARLY EVERY SCENE. Halloween= A LOT OF FREE SWEETIES,” she wrote. “May I remind you that the vest has “A LOT OF HANDY POCKETS”..Costume+vest+POCKETS= someone who came prepared. IT IS with great importance we understand how vital Yelena is for Halloween. Rant over, thanks for listening.”
Pugh is not the only celeb who chopped their hair short this week. On October 27, Anne Hathaway was photographed filming her upcoming project, Armageddon Time, in New York City. The film, which also stars Anthony Hopkins and Succession’s Jeremy Strong, features Hathaway sporting a short curly bob, which is perfect for the ’80s coming-of-age film.
Honestly, we love these looks for both of them.
