For indie actor, Linda Collins the roadmap to success started in St. Louis, with stops in Tuscaloosa, Canada and eventually her new base, New York City. Sprinkled in between are a few stints in graduate school and even some time with the Naples Symphony. The actress, musician and producer continues to inspire audiences with her career that spans drama, comedy, horror and more – Collins is succeeding one part and one story at a time. Her star continues to rise with some very unique projects.
Perception, a drama featuring Collins in the role of Lauren (the wife) of a white family who teaches their American teen to hate immigrants. Perception, written and directed by Andres Irias, tells the story from the perspective of a white supremacist family and a Honduran mother who is pressured to migrate to the United States. Collins both acted in the film and served as executive producer. She was on hand to accept the film’s award for Best International Film at the Brightside Traven Shorts Film Festival and received Award for Best Supporting Actress at the Omaha Latino Festival.
Three For The Road is a dramady that centers on three characters that meet up for a spiritual journey after befriending each other in a yoga class. The three discover that their journeys might be different, but in their current path they seem to be sharing more than not. Collins dazzles as Liz, a fashion maven that has learned to divert her pain into laughter. She lives her life out loud and has been married several times, with a healthy sexual appetite. The film is directed by David Patrick Wilson.
The short film Mary Jane’s Tribulations has Collins both acting and taking on the role of executive producer. The drama is written by Marvin Gayle and directed by Arsen Bortnik. Collins is Amy, the mother, and the story focuses on her constant depression (and fighting) with her daughter. about Her costars include Fiorella Mallea, David Arquilla and Roman Perez. The short is an official film selection for the Grove Film Festival (Jersey City).
On the streaming side of things, Collins has also been busy working on the Zoom comedy series, CUZZINS. The series focuses on three cousins living in a three-family house in Brooklyn, navigating their diverse makeup. Collins plays Nancy Decker alongside Diezel Ramos and Joyce Porter in the online series that is directed by Kevin James McNamara and Anngeannette Pinkston. McNamara is also executive producer.

Other credits throughout 2021 for Collins include the TV series I Fell Off A Cliff, the short film Cutter, and the short film, The Lonely Road to Nowhere. She’s currently filming Dying to Love You, The Stable, We Be Nurses and All Mobbed Up. As of this writing, she’s probably lining up even more projects – with more to be announced in the world of drama, comedy and even horror.
