I’m often disillusioned by tinted serums or moisturisers, as I often find it that those hybrid products are more about time-saving, but less about working hard to function as both skincare and makeup. The ingredients don’t tend to carry as many active properties, and the makeup, just doesn’t quite look as good as I need it to. Trinny tells us that this one actually has that balance right and is as good as a base makeup product as it is skincare hero.
The shade range also felt impressive, I was skeptical at first, seeing that there were only 14 shades. However, each shade stretches across two to three skin tones, so I found it that both ‘june’ and ‘jilda’ worked well for my complexion. The product gave me just enough coverage as a lightweight foundation would, which evened out my colour, but still left it looking like real skin. This is the ideal no-makeup makeup product, I suggest you try and see for yourself.

The Trinny BFF Rebalance Tinted Serum is brilliant. The silver packaging is very chique and not too big so you could take it with you in a handbag wherever you go if you need to top up. The pump applicator is also great as it makes it easy to apply, choosing the exact amount you need. I always find that tinted serums / moisturisers don’t really give you enough coverage, however this looked the same as if I had put foundation on.
It felt quite thick to apply, but it blended well and lasted all day long, giving me a great glow. It’s reassuring to know that this particular serum is targeted at oily skin so you know it’s doing good while it’s on your skin! A fantastic product that I would highly recommend for everyday use.

This tinted serum is a wonderful find for people like me, who love products that marry skincare and makeup. Although the instructions say to use two or three pumps, and then build up from there, one felt more than enough for me to get decent coverage. What I absolutely love about this product is how easy it is to apply, just gently massage the skin and voilá: all of the redness across my face had disappeared.
This amazing shine-reducing tinted serum offered me perfect buildable coverage and a matte finish that dimmed any natural glow from my skin. As it’s quite long-lasting it made my skin feel balanced and healthy for hours and hours, while it was protecting my skin against pollution and sun damage. This product is my new skin saviour!
