“Chucky”: Brand New Trailer for the ‘Child’s Play’ Series is Loaded With New Footage and Familiar Faces

“Chucky broke his soul into pieces, but the last piece didn’t go into a doll,” Alex Vincent‘s Andy Barclay explains in the latest trailer for USA & SYFY’s “Chucky” series from creator Don Mancini, which loads up on new footage, familiar faces, and even one very gory kill.

Ahead of the series premiere on October 12, check out the brand new trailer below, which features the return of Andy, Kyle, Tiffany, and yes, even Nica Pierce as well.

And this time, her body is inhabited by the evil spirit of Charles Lee Ray…

The premiere episode of “Chucky” was directed by Mancini himself, with other episode directors including Dermott DownsLeslie LibmanSamir Rahem, and Jeff Renfroe.

Brad Dourif is back as Chucky and Jennifer Tilly is back as Tiffany in “Chucky,” which will continue the storylines from the *original* movies and their recent sequels, Curse and Cult of Chucky. Also returning are Fiona Dourif as Nica Pierce, Alex Vincent as Andy Barclay, and Christine Elise as Kyle. Devon Sawa (Final DestinationHunter Hunter) also stars.

“Chucky” has been described as a “fresh take on the franchise” that’ll “explore Chucky’s character with a depth that is uniquely afforded by the television series format.”

In the series, “After a vintage Chucky doll turns up at a suburban yard sale, an idyllic American town is thrown into chaos as a series of horrifying murders begin to expose the town’s hypocrisies and secrets. Meanwhile, the arrival of enemies — and allies — from Chucky’s past threatens to expose the truth behind the killings, as well as the demon doll’s untold origins as a seemingly ordinary child who somehow became this notorious monster.”

“Chucky” is executive produced by Nick Antosca (“Channel Zero”).
