Lizzo has responded to a rumour that she ‘killed someone’ by stage-diving at a concert

Lizzo, as ever, is putting trolls in their place. The power house for self-love, singing and slaying has taken to TikTok to address an incorrect and frankly irritating rumour about her. It was claimed that she once dived off stage at a concert and killed a member of the crowd. To say we’re *eye rolling* right now is an understatement. Our eyes are basically in the back of our heads.

Taking to TikTok, Lizzo addressed the rumour. She said, wholly unamused: “So, I’ve seen a lot of annoying things about me on the internet but the thing that bothers me the most is this rumour that I stage dived at a concert and killed somebody.”

She added: “Like, that rumour, it’s a lie, first of all. I’ve never stage dived in my life and b*tch, how, like killed somebody? Y’all really gon’ put that on my m*therf*cking name? Like, I know I’m big but b*tch, I’m not that f*cking big.”

Then, just to really clap back at those spreading the rumour, she dived onto her bed to show what it would look like if she did stage-dive. Fans have backed her, with one writing: “Stop playing with Lizzo LMAOOOOOOO”.

Lizzo then shared another TikTok, replying to a fan who said: “PLEASE WHO SAID LMFAOOO”.

“I wish I knew who said it @coochpooch69 so I could tell them to they face they was dead wrong. But while we at it, what else all you m*therf*ckers have to say? I’m responding to all rumours right now.” While many fans have commented with speculations – from when Lizzo’s dropping a new album to her joke that she’s pregnant with Chris Evans‘s baby – Lizzo has yet to respond.

This isn’t the first time people have tried to make comments about Lizzo’s size, though it never lands well as Lizzo owns her space and body so effortlessly on her social media channels, putting these people firmly in their place and showing that her size is not up for question nor debate. This is one of the many reasons we are leading members of the Lizzo fan club.
