REVIEW:

Directed by Anna Chazelle (10 min) (Sci-Fi/Horror) (USA)
In a post-apocalyptic world where survival means never stepping off a thin narrow path, a lone woman must evade a creature that stalks her every move.

  Review:

Narrow was written and directed by Anna Chazelle.

Narrow opens with Sloane portrayed by Anna Chazelle walking through a desert, and a woman screaming for help. The Etheria Film Festival 2021 has delivered some great short films.

Sloane finds herself in what looks like an abandoned house. Sloane spots some supplies she needs and another person. Narrow is intense, creepy, and there is a disturbing sense of losing your mind. Sloane is also following a path that she doesn’t get off; it looks like some kind of dirt mixed with fabrics? (I have so many questions.)

Sloane comes across some people who don’t look too thrilled to see her. There is super creepy whispering and it’s hard to tell if Sloane is imagining everything or if this stuff is happening?

Anna Chazelle does a great job with the shots, and you still aren’t quite sure what is real and what may be a hallucination?! This should be a feature film. Come on!!!

Make sure to check out Narrow and the Etheria Film Festival 2021.
