Rarely has anyone been so guaranteed to get to first base.
Rapper and actor Drake (also known as a succinct visual representation of the sentiment, “I do not like that, but I do like this”) upped his dating game to the major leagues on Thursday night. He and model Johanna Leia were spotted alone at a romantic table along the third base line at Dodger Stadium by a Los Angeles news chopper. Nearby was what looked like a full bar and a man ready to serve them.
The pair also had custom-made Dodgers jerseys, hers saying “Johanna” and his saying “The Boy.” Both had the number 8. (The current Dodger with the number 8 is Zach McKinstry, who is likely honored by this or very worried.)
The Dodgers organization told ABC 7 that “Drake made a sizable donation to the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation in order to make his Dodger Stadium dinner date a reality.”
Drake and Leia first started appearing in public in June. She is a former cast member of the reality show Bringing Up Ballers. Her son is the UCLA-bound high school basketball star Amari Bailey and is teammates with LeBron James’s son, Bronny. Page Six has theorized that Drake, who has been known to cheer on Bronny with his chum LeBron at games, may have met Leia at one of Sierra Canyon’s high school matches.
