Chloe Bailey is kicking off her 23rd birthday with an exciting venture: new music! On July 1, the singer announced she will be releasing solo music with a steamy clip on Instagram. “this is 23… HAVE MERCY COMING SOON,” Chloe wrote alongside the clip, which shows her singing and dancing in a bedroom. Though she didn’t announce an official release date for the new music video, it seems like she plans on dropping it very soon. In a followup comment, Chloe wrote, “should i drop this soon? 🙇🏽♀️” It goes without saying that our answer is a resounding, “YES!”
Chloe and her sister Halle, known collectively as Chloe x Halle, first rose to musical fame after getting the attention of Beyoncé for their cover of “Pretty Hurts.” They eventually signed with the singer’s management company, Parkwood Entertainment, in 2015, and released their debut album The Kids Are Alright in 2018, and their second studio album Ungodly Hour in 2020. Most recently, the sisters have been embarking on their own solo careers, with Halle starring in Disney’s live-action version of The Little Mermaid and now Chloe releasing new music. We can’t wait to see what the sisters have in store!
