Michael Myers is slashing his way back to theaters this fall in the highly anticipated Halloween Kills, the sequel to David Gordon Green‘s own take on Halloween that reconned all sequels and continues the story of Jamie Lee Curtis‘ Laurie Strode some 40 years later.
The Forever Purge opens in theaters next week and with it comes attached the full trailer for Halloween Kills, which is incredibly violent, setting Michael loose on a team of firefighters who are called to the fire that raged over the final moments of the previous film. The trailer is long, brutal, and features quite a few Easter eggs including the iconic masks from Halloween III: Season of the Witch!
Also, in an interesting move, Laurie Strode returns to the hospital setting from the retconned original sequel. Check it out!
Halloween Kills brings back Curtis, Judy Greer, Andi Matichak and Robert Longstreet, with original Halloween actor Charles Cyphers returning as Sheriff Leigh Brackett.
Anthony Michael Hall also stars in the new film as Tommy Doyle, with the returning Kyle Richards as Lindsey Wallace and Nancy Stephens as Nurse Marion Chambers.
The current release date for Halloween Kills is October 15, 2021, only in theaters.
