This bag is so good, Emily Ratajkowski bought it 3 times – and now it can be yours for less than £50

Emily Ratajkowski knows a thing or two about fashion. We love her casual but very cool LA wardrobe that mostly consists of cute summer dresses, relaxed tailoring, baggy jeans and midriff flashing crop tops (come on, if you had those abs you’d wear them too). As a result, whenever she’s spotted out and about we take note, and often find some inspiration for our own wardrobe wish lists.

So, when our beady eyes saw her carrying the same bag in not two but THREE different colours recently, we stopped in our tracks. If EmRata was this obsessed, it had to be good.

We did some research and found that the model’s favourite arm candy is actually the The Gabbi bag by independent, Los Angeles-based brand JW Pei, and it’s possibly one of the cutest iterations of the popular nineties hobo style we’ve seen. With a fun ruched handle and sleek curved shape, it was such a hit when it first launched, the brand now offers it in ten insta-friendly shades. No wonder EmRata wanted them all.

Of course, to begin with we presumed it would be like a lot of things celebrities wear – wayyy out of our price range. But it turns out Emily loves a bargain as much as we do. We knew this girl wasn’t averse to a more affordable purchase— she’s been spotted in high street favourites Zara and Mango more than once — and thankfully this bag is one of them. Originally £75, it’s also now in the sale (hoorah!), meaning seven out of the ten colours are down to almost half price. Another bonus? The brand focuses on sustainability and their bags are made from vegan leather and recycled plastic, as if we needed another excuse.

The candy coloured light yellow, grass green and purple are seriously calling to us for summer, but the ivory and nutella brown are just SO classic. We couldn’t possibly choose (and apparently neither could EmRata). They’re just the kind of bags that make any outfit look better – throw them on with denim and a white tee or a simple white dress à la Emily, and you’re all set for a Saturday afternoon at the pub.
