If you know your beauty products, we’re pretty sure Coco & Eve will already be on your radar. It’s likely you’re familiar with their sweet scented, comforting body products, their seamless fake tan range and / or their game changing Like A Virgin Hair Masque which has won the hearts of millions of people. Or maybe you swear by their hair treatments featuring the Deep Clean Scalp Scrub and Miracle Hair Elixir?
Now, Coco & Eve has answered consumers’ wishes by creating a shampoo & conditioner that has been three years in development and claims to offer visibly healthy-looking hair from the first wash for all hair types. No wonder the waiting list was at 47,000 and counting!
The new sulphate-free range also promises to increase moisture by 51%, repairs and reduces damage by 65%, providing smoothness with no frizz or split ends and conditioning strands for shine and softness. It’s packed with active botanicals and infused with its iconic coconut & fig fragrance that fans obsess over, leaving your hair looking and smelling uber fresh.
So will it live up the the hype? It was only right for us to put them through their paces, testing on five different textures of hair, and here’s our verdict.

I’ve got no words for the Coco & Eve shampoo and conditioner – in five minutes they turned my hair smooth and hydrated. After the success of Coco & Eve’s Like A Virgin Mask, I was obviously quite curious to try these products and see what all this fuss was about. When it comes to conditioners, I normally use quite a lot to cover my hair, but with this one, it was enough with a small squeeze. Instantly after applying it I could feel my curls softer, stronger, and healthier. It also helped with frizz without taking away my volume.
I can definitely see the difference after my first use, also I had quite a lot of compliments on my hair and the smell is amazing. I’m really excited to see the evolution when I add these products into my haircare routine. Highly recommended for anyone with dry, thick, curly hair like me! Coco & Eve’s is my hair’s new best friend.

This brand is a personal favourite and after loving the Coco & Eve ‘Coconut Fig Hair Mask’, I had high hopes for this new release. My hair type falls into the 4B/4C category, my curls are extremely dry and brittle and retaining moisture is a struggle. This at times feels unmanageable, but in reality it just requires a little more time and effort to style and retain its healthiness. Upon first impressions, the packaging is practical but cute. The bottle in the classic Coco & Eve aesthetically-pleasing pastel pink and vibrant green colours is on the smaller side, making it ideal to throw in your overnight stay bag, .
I typically have to lather A LOT of product to fully shampoo and condition my hair, but I was surprised to find out that this wasn’t the case with this product. I quickly found that on application, a small amount went a long way. Immediately after washing, my hair felt moisturised and bouncy and thankfully even once dried my hair still felt soft to touch. All-in-all, I feel satisfied that Coco & Eve’s ‘super-hydrating’ claims were in fact a reality. This duo definitely reached my expectations and is definitely my new go-to!

Having recently highlighted my hair, got back to the swimming pool and taken advantage of the rare British sun, my hair was looking dry, frizzy and lacklustre so I was looking forward to trying the Coco & Eve Super Hydrating Shampoo and Cream Conditioner.
I’m personally all about the aesthetics, and on first impression I love the packaging of these products. The bottle is robust and easy to grip (who wants to be fighting to squeeze out their shampoo on a Monday morning?!) and looks great in my bathroom cabinet.
I shampooed my hair twice, after which my hair felt clean, but not dry. As promised on the back of the bottle, I did feel it ‘washes from root-to-tip without stripping moisture’. After recently making my way onto ‘HairTok’, I’ve made an effort to source sulphate-free shampoo. I am pleased to report that this shampoo is sulphate-free and leaves my hair feeling thoroughly cleansed and hydrated.
True to it’s name, the conditioner is a thick, creamy consistency and was easy to slather onto my hair. As promised, the conditioner adds ‘instant gloss and shine with zero weigh-down’. As my hair is thick and heavy, it’s great to have sleek hair without compromising volume. My hair feels hydrated and revitalised and I love it!

First thing’s first: Coco & Eve are the brand behind one of my all-time favourite hair masks – not least because the packaging is like catnip for millennials (ICYMI: pink and covered in palm trees). So when they announced they were dropping a shampoo and conditioner duo? You bet I was excited.
In the few days that came before using the products, the heat was getting the better of my locks. They were dry, lacklustre and looking *super* frizzy, so I was in dire need of something to help serve up an instant injection of hydration. And that they did.
The shampoo left my hair feeling squeaky clean, while the conditioner – packed with ResistHyal Hyaluronic Acid technology – left my hair feeling moisturised and super soft. Even after heat styling. Sure, I still could’ve done with using a hair mask for optimum hydration… but considering I hadn’t touched a leave-in product in days, this pair did a good job of transforming my tresses ready for my birthday.

I have seen rave reviews about Coco & Eve on Instagram so I had high hopes. Firstly, the smell is heavenly! Coconut scents always remind me of holidays and summer, and in this weird time where we cannot travel, it transported me to the beach! The smell wasn’t too overpowering and sickly but just enough that I could smell it on my hair a few hours later.
My hair is thick, straight and long, so I’m always on the hunt for something that can handle the sheer amount of it, without weighing it down. This shampoo and conditioner duo did just that, as the product wasn’t too thick so it left me with clean, voluminous hair and glossy, shiny locks. The ends of my hair are extremely dry but the conditioner made me feel like I had just got a haircut – yes, that soft! It made that post-wash brush a lot easier — tangle and knot free!
