What do you like most about playing live?

Getting lost in the music while singing. I also love singing alongside live accompaniment.

Is there a song on your latest CD release here that stands out as your personal favorite, and why?

“Here I Am” I feel very connected to the lyrics of this song It reminds me of how grateful I am to be alive today and how blessed I am to have people around me who believe in me, believe in my success. Those people fed life into me and made me who I am today. They helped me grow into a burn survivor who was not afraid to show her scars and her voice to the world. Because of their love and support, I have never felt the need to hide who I am. When I sing this song, I am reminded of all these things.

How have you evolved as an artist over the last year?

I have a growing obsession with songwriting. I am hoping to one day release music written by me.

H.E.R. I think she is a brilliant singer-songwriter and I feel like I could learn so much from her.
