Dax Shepard’s Mother Day’s message for Kristen Bell is stripped-down and real; emphasis on the stripped-down. On Sunday, the Armchair Expert host celebrated his wife with an Instagram note that warmed our hearts — and revealed Kristen’s backyard yoga attire, or lack thereof. (We see those compression socks, though!)
“Mom’ing has changed since I was a kid . . . and I’m here for it,” Dax captioned a photo of Kristen doing naked stretches at home. “Look at this specimen: kind, patient, nurturing, hilarious, Uber talented, generous, hard AND soft. My girls and I hit the MegaMom Lottery in spectacular fashion. We are so grateful and so in love with you.”
Dax and Kristen have been together for over a decade, and married for seven years. They have two daughters together — Lincoln, 8, and Delta, 6 — and are transparent about the highs and lows of their relationship. “We don’t want anyone to think we met and it’s been easy,” Dax explained in a recent interview. “Because if that’s someone’s expectation of a relationship, and certainly marriage, it’s a bad expectation to have.” A relationship like Dax and Kristen’s requires work, and we love to see them supporting each other every step of the way.
