Sam Asghari has been dating Britney Spears since 2016. Over the years, we’ve only gotten a handful of peeks at their relationship through the photos they share on social media and the few public appearances they’ve made together. For the most part, Britney and Sam prefer to keep their relationship out of the spotlight, however, Sam recently voiced his support for his other half following the release of the Framing Britney Spears documentary.
Without divulging too many details, the 27-year-old gave People a statement, thanking Britney’s fans for all of their love and support and expressing his hopes for “a normal, amazing future together.” In a follow-up statement on his Instagram Story, he called out Britney’s dad, Jamie Spears, saying, “I have zero respect for someone trying to control our relationship and constantly throwing obstacles our way. In my opinion, Jamie is a total d*ck.” Britney has yet to respond to the documentary herself.
