Christina Aguilera spent the Christmas holiday swimming and champagne toasting with Matthew Rutler! The singer shared a ‘photo dump’ of rare snaps with her longtime partner at home in CA.
Christina Aguilera enjoyed the 2020 Christmas holiday at home with her loved ones and her three pups. The Grammy-winner, 40, took to Instagram on December 29, to share a “holiday photo dump” of intimate pics and clips with her longtime partner Matthew Rutler. The pair, who turned their backyard in CA into a winter wonderland with fake snow, enjoyed a Christmas Day swim. They donned red and white holiday hats, while Christina sizzled in a plunging red bikini. Meanwhile, Matthew covered his face with a foe white Santa beard that was attached to his hat.
In other clips, Christina showed off the couple’s snow-covered backyard, courtesy of a massive snow gun. The “Fall In Line” singer and her beau bundled up while they sipped champagne in the snow. One clip showed the pair’s pups running around and playing in the snow.
Christina also shared a cute snap of couple’s 6-year-old daughter Summer Rain Rutler and Max Liron Bratman, 12, whom she shares with her ex-husband Jordan Bratman. Summer, who was pictured sleeping on the floor, was surrounded by a bunch of Christmas presents — some of which included Nike sneakers, an Oculus device, candy and a variety of children’s toys. Christina’s photo with Max showed the singer hugging her son. The latter photo was presumably taken in the days before Christmas, since the Burlesque actress shared a similar snap with her son on December 20.
Christina and Matthew got engaged on Valentine’s Day in 2014, after meeting on the set of the 2010 movie Burlesque. They welcomed their daughter a few months later in August. The family’s “stay home edition” holiday, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, was certainly one to remember!
Earlier this month, Christina celebrated her milestone 40th birthday with a powerful message about the stigmas surrounding aging. “Dear 40, What a beautiful concept… to not only be ‘turning’ 40, but to be ARRIVING at 40!” she wrote in a post on Instagram. “This ever-present social stigma exists around getting older, but I have ALWAYS embraced it! I am forever an old soul and I appreciate the wisdom, grace and beauty that comes with each new year of life,” Christina continued.
She concluded with this cliffhanger promise to her millions of fans: “So, 40, let’s f–king do this. You have no idea what I have planned for you. I hope you’re ready.”
