Two months after filmmaker Amy Berg revived a years-long Twitter tradition of asking her followers to debate which Hollywood Chris “has to go”—forcing people to choose between Chris Hemsworth, Chris Pine, Chris Evans, and Chris Pratt—and one month after the actor’s co-stars and Patrick Schwarzenegger rushed to his defense, Chris Pratt is finally acknowledging his controversial title as the “worst Chris.”
Pratt has stayed quiet in regards to his last-place internet ranking, allowing his brother-in-law, his wife Katherine Schwarzenegger, co-stars Zoë Saldana, Robert Downey Jr., Mark Ruffalo, and Marvel film directors, Anthony and Joseph Russo, do all the talking for him. But in an Instagram Story posted to his account on Monday, the actor made light of the controversy while talking about his participation in the AGBO Superhero Fantasy Football League—a celebrity charity league that also happens to include Evans and Hemsworth as members.
In the clip, Pratt shouts, “I made it into the finals! I’m in the finals! How did this happen? It’s a 14 man league, I had 14th draft pick. Do you know how hard that is? I was picked last. It was very traumatic. Anyone who’s been picked last knows hot that feels. But somehow I was like in 10th place after the draft and 8th place after the season.” He added, “I snuck two very, very close victories off, the most recent one being Chris Evans. He beat Chris Hemsworth last week. So I guess we finally put an end to that debate…Who’s the better Chris? It’s one of them.” However, Pratt pointed out, “I do have them in body fat content though, so…I am more buoyant. Take that, gang.” So while he may always come in fourth on the Hollywood Chris list, at least Pratt will always take first place in his floatation abilities.
