Red lipstick is the perfect beauty addition to any holiday look, and some of our favorite stars love rocking this trend all year long. From Taylor Swift to Christina Aguilera, Selena Gomez and more, these celebs are giving us major red lip inspiration for the holiday season!
It’s no secret that Taylor is the queen of red lipstick. The singer is rarely spotted out without a pop of red on her lips, and she takes it to the next level when she attends high-profile events, like award shows. At the 2019 Video Music Awards, she rocked a colorful ensemble, and her red lipstick matched the red color within the fabric on her outfit. It was a color more close to coral than a lot of the other deep red lip looks that Taylor has rocked in the past, but she pulled it off like a total pro!
Earlier this year, Megan Thee Stallion became a Global Brand Ambassador for Revlon. In one of her promo shoots for the company, she rocked one of their signature red lip colors. She put the bold color on full display by pouting her lips for the photo shoot. The close-up image showed the glossy hue of the lip, and it was enhanced with some sparkly eye shadow, as well.
Right before the coronavirus lockdown, Christina Aguilera made a stunning appearance at the premiere of Mulan. She rocked a red skirt, paired with a pink top for the red carpet. To complete the look, she wore bright red lipstick, which matched the red hue of her outfit. Aside from the lipstick, Christina wore minimal makeup, so the bold color was front and center of her beauty look. She also pulled her hair back into a top knot so her beauty look was on full display.
