Dua Lipa’s Studio 2054 Livestream: Here’s What Happened

Dua Lipa hosted a star-studded livestream event tonight (November 27) called Studio 2054. Performing live from a warehouse, she was joined by Elton John, FKA twigs, Bad Bunny, Miley Cyrus, Kylie Minogue, and other guests during the show. Check out the Studio 2054 setlist below.

Dancers surrounded Dua Lipa from opening number “Future Nostalgia” until FKA twigs appeared solo, starting a new song that she and Dua Lipa have recorded but not yet officially released. After the club-style dance party with the Blessed Madonna through “Boys Will Be Boys,” roller skaters circled Dua Lipa while she sang “Cool.” She left the club floor to perform “New Rules,” which yielded to a video clip of her performing “Prisoner” with Miley Cyrus. She returned to the mic for “Un Día (One Day),” with J Balvin and Bad Bunny contributing their verses from footage on a TV set.

Belgian singer Angèle joined her live for “Fever,” and after another club stretch that included “One Kiss” and a duet with Kylie Minogue on “Real Groove,” Elton John appeared as a looming projection, performing “Rocket Man.” She closed out the show with “Don’t Start Now” amid a glitter explosion.

Dua Lipa released Club Future Nostalgia, a Blessed Madonna remix of her March album Future Nostalgia, at the end of August. Earlier this week, Future Nostalgia was nominated for Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album Grammys, with “Don’t Start Now” also earning nominations for Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Pop Solo Performance. “Un Día (One Day),” Dua Lipa’s collaboration with J Balvin, Bad Bunny, and Tainy, was nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.

Since releasing Future Nostalgia, Dua Lipa has more recently joined Miley Cyrus on her Plastic Hearts single “Prisoner.” After performing “Levitating” at the American Music Awards at the end of November, she’ll be the musical guest on Saturday Night Live on December 19 with host Kristen Wiig.
