It looks as if one of the rumours that’s been floating around for months regarding Mortal Kombat 11 is coming to fruition. Months after dataminers had found evidence of NetherRealm using the actor voices from the original 1995 Mortal Kombat film, co-creator Ed Boon has now decided to stir the pot a little and show a brief look at character skins for Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate based on the original actors’ likenesses.
It’s not much, but seeing Christopher Lambert’s Raiden is a welcome sight, as are Bridgette Wilson-Sampras and Linden Ashby as Sonya and Johnny Cage, respectively. Other than the image below, there’s no indication as to when we’d see the skins, or if we’ll be seeing other actors from the film in MK11U (Robin Shou’s Liu Kang and Talisa Soto’s Katana, for example).
Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate is out now on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One consoles, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
