Topshop’s epic new collection has just launched and we’re snapping up the whole lot

We might be enjoying a final spell of sunshine this week, but when it comes to fashion, Autumn is firmly on the mind. After a long hot summer donning floaty dresses, we’re ready to pack in our summer wardrobe in exchange for cosy knits, stylish tailoring and fresh styles of denim. Fortunately, Topshop is on hand to help.

Fresh from production, Topshop has just released its first collection for the new season and it might be their best Autumnal offering yet. Featuring biker jackets, vinyl jackets, dainty blouses and chunky boots, your bank account is guaranteed to take a battering. Just saying.

So what should you look out for before it gets snapped up? First up, we can’t not mention these seriously on-trend chunky boots. If you’ve been scrolling through fashion accounts on Instagram in recent weeks, you’ll know that Bottega Veneta’s chunky Chelsea boots are the hottest product to own this Autumn. However, at a whooping £845, they are out of reach for the best of us. Don’t despair yet – Topshop has come in with this brilliant dupe at a mere £42.99, and you can hardly tell the difference. Besides, it’ll leave you with plenty of money left to continue shopping.

Shoes aside, jackets are a failsafe wardrobe staple to stock up on. Autumn, also known as transitional season, can be impossible to dress for with layers constantly coming on and off depending on the unpredictable weather. For a chic layer to wear with our favourite pair of jeans, we’re obsessed with this fabulous vinyl belted shacket. Alternatively, for cooler days where we want to cosy up, we’ll be opting for this edgy biker jacket in black.

That said, we’re not about to end our lockdown induced love affair with trackies and this tie dye set will be going down a treat.

So, without further a do, here are our favourite Autumnal pieces from Topshop’s new collection. Farewell razors and endless bottles of fake tan, we won’t miss you.
