The long-awaited premiere date of the new season of The Bachelorette has finally been revealed! Earlier today, ABC announced Clare Crawley’s premiere date is – drum roll, please – Tuesday, October 13. Here’ what we know about the highly-anticipated new season, including when we think Tayshia Adams will be seen in the promos.
Everyone who is anyone has been anxiously waiting for The Bachelorette’s premiere date to be revealed. This new season is going to be unlike any other in the franchise’s long-running history. After almost twenty years, this is the first time the show has ever dealt with a pandemic, as well as having two leads. Well, excluding that one awkward time in Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season when she had to battle it out on the first night with Britt Nilsson. But thankfully, this time it sounds like it’s completely different. Clare Crawley’s season, which was supposed to take place back in the spring, had to postpone production and pivot the way the show would be filmed. Instead of having everyone come to the oh-so-romantic Bachelor mansion and then jet-set across the globe, this season filmed in only one location. Contestants and Crawley quarantined at a Palm Springs resort, but halfway through filming, news broke that she had already given out her final rose. That’s a major Bachelor no-no! Things turned even more dramatic when another Bachelorette was revealed, aka the lovely Tayshia Adams. However, in the new promos, Adams has still yet to make an appearance.

In a recent press release, ABC and Warner Bros. shared the exciting news that Clare Crawley’s season will air in October. ET reports, “Bachelor Nation, the wait is finally over! Clare Crawley will finally embark on her journey to find true love as The Bachelorette returns for its sizzling 16th season on a new night,” The show also tweeted out a picture of Crawley saying “it’s about time.” The picture explained that the new season will premiere on Tuesday, October 13 at 8/7c on ABC. The picture used in Clare’s Twitter promo is reminiscent of The Graduate, a 1967 movie about a young man who starts separate relationships with a married mom and her daughter. Is the picture somehow giving a cheeky hint about Clare’s journey? We don’t think there are any father-son duos appearing on this season, but at this point, anything could happen.
In all of the promos and the press release, Tayshia Adams is not mentioned. Does this mean she will get a totally different season? Fans will just have to wait ’til October 13 to find out!
